School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Clearlake, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Clearlake, CA. This is a contract role with a Monday through Friday schedule, providing direct support to students within the school environment. The position involves replacing a Virtual Therapist; however, this opportunity does not include VOCO therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials (SLP, CCC preferred)
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and individualized education planning
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to implement therapy in person following current best practices and school policies
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs within the school setting
