Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification (CCC required)
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Previous experience, preferably in school settings or with K-12 age groups
- Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in speech-language therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students across three buildings within the district
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations and varying needs
- Participate in meetings, training, and interdisciplinary team planning
