Desired Qualifications:
- Valid professional license and educator certificate appropriate for school-based SLP work
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment, supporting a diverse student population
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- New graduates (CFYs) welcome, supervision provided
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostics, assessments, and direct therapy to students with communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in close collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
What to Expect:
- Pay commensurate with school experience; as an example, professionals with 0-2 years school experience can expect $40-43 per hour, 3-5 years $43-46, and so on, rewarding growth and longevity in the field
