Your expertise will make a meaningful impact as you:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy and counseling services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in meetings with families and educational teams to discuss progress and strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers
- Offer education and resources to support classroom staff in fostering communication goals
Desired qualifications/experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Skillful in organizing caseload and balancing clinical documentation with direct therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
