Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Prior experience serving K-12 students in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the varied needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans and goals, tailoring interventions to individual student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in alignment with IEP objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and educational outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach
- Provide resources, strategies, and ongoing support to faculty and caregivers for carryover of skills
