Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with a range of therapeutic strategies and assistive technologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized intervention plans and track student progress
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing specialized knowledge
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student growth
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with federal and state regulations
