Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid Ohio SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Document services and track student progress according to federal and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
