Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in schools, particularly with early childhood or Pre K populations, strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and create individualized treatment plans for Pre K students
- Deliver direct therapy services, individually or in small groups, adapting strategies to meet each child’s needs
- Consult with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment encouraging communication growth
