Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and caseload management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Must provide a screenshot of current CA and ASHA licensure upon application
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to middle and high school students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and craft individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic strategies and materials to engage learners
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
