Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Hold an active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Bilingual proficiency in Ukrainian and English, with the ability to deliver assessments and interventions in both languages.
- Previous experience with school-aged children, particularly in early childhood or kindergarten settings.
- Comfortable conducting thorough speech and language evaluations, including working with interpreters or providing direct bilingual support.
- Familiar with both in-person and teletherapy treatment modalities as related to school-based SLP services.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a kindergarten student, focusing on identifying needs and planning targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support the student’s communication goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans, adapting to both onsite and virtual service delivery as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations to help shape each child’s educational experience.
