Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
  • Recent experience in school-based or teletherapy SLP roles
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Fluent in both Ukrainian and English (required)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with young students, teachers, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in K-12 education

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an evaluation for a kindergarten student to determine speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to interpret results and develop appropriate recommendations or interventions
  • Provide clear and supportive communication with teachers and families, addressing questions and explaining findings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all regulations and district policies
  • Use cultural sensitivity and language skills to ensure the student and family feel supported throughout the process
