An exciting contractual opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to support a high school caseload for the upcoming school year. This position is based near Chula Vista, CA, with options for both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules—ideal for those looking for flexibility in their professional lives. Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are warmly welcomed, making this a great chance to complete supervision requirements while gaining hands-on school-based experience. Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid California SLP or SLPA licensure
  • Appropriate credentials: CCC-SLP, CFY, or SLPA certification
  • Background in pediatrics, particularly working with high school-aged students
  • Prior experience in school or healthcare settings preferred
  • Competency with teletherapy modalities is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of high school students, providing direct and consultative speech and language services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to foster student achievement
  • Support and integrate teletherapy services as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
