School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Chicopee, Massachusetts

A school in Springfield, MA is seeking a dedicated, bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC required) for a full-time, onsite contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license (active status required)
- Bilingual proficiency to support students’ varied linguistic backgrounds
- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
- Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and comprehensive CORI/background checks
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and write IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and progress notes in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as needed
- Communicate effectively with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Adhere to school policies for attendance and notify appropriate parties if unable to attend
