Key qualifications include:
- Hold a current and active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license with CCC distinction (please be prepared to share a screenshot as verification)
- Bilingual proficiency—excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one other language
- Prior experience delivering SLP services within a school setting
- Demonstrated ability to provide individualized and group therapy, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families
- Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and dependability
- Must successfully pass a drug screen, fingerprint-based background check, and CORI
- Consistent reliable transportation and ability to maintain regular, timely attendance
As a central part of the school community, you will:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and interventions onsite
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members on student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Act as a resource for bilingual language needs and cultural responsiveness
