Travel School Speech Pathology | Chicago, Illinois
A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school settings is needed for full-time positions serving a charter school network in the Chicago area. These roles involve travel between multiple school locations, providing comprehensive speech and language services primarily to PreK-8 students. Fluency in Spanish is required to meet the needs of the diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-8 settings across several schools.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement language interventions tailored to bilingual students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Travel between multiple school sites within the Chicago metropolitan area, including locations in Great Lakes, North Chicago, and Waukegan.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working effectively in school settings, specifically with bilingual Spanish-speaking students.
