An exciting opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a dynamic charter school network serving multiple locations in and around Chicago, Illinois. This travel position involves working in-person across various school sites, including locations in Great Lakes, North Chicago, and Waukegan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Support a culturally and linguistically diverse student population with a focus on bilingual Spanish-English communication.
- Travel between school sites within the Chicago metropolitan area to meet service delivery requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, specifically grades PreK-8.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory to effectively serve the diverse student population.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations with flexibility and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to in-person service delivery and travel within the Chicago area.
