Speech and Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL
An opportunity is available for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in the Chicago area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026, providing services approximately 2.5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and those receiving Response to Intervention (RTI) services.
- Work with a caseload primarily consisting of Pre-K through 5th-grade students.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois State Licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possess Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Ability to manage caseload and implement individualized therapy plans effectively.
