A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Chicago, IL, with potential consideration for full-time hours. This role involves approximately 21 hours per week (.5 FTE) primarily focused on an elementary caseload. The main responsibilities include conducting evaluations and assessments, along with providing some therapy services.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Deliver therapy services as needed to support student communication goals
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop appropriate intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Illinois
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel Endorsement
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred to support diverse student populations
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus
