School Speech Language Pathologist - Naperville, IL

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate SLP endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience supporting high school-aged learners, especially those with specific learning disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 35 high school students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans focused on specific learning disabilities
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Adapt intervention strategies based on students’ evolving needs and progress
- Consult with and provide guidance to classroom teachers on communication strategies and accommodations
