A school district in the Chicago area is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary students from PreK through 5th grade during the upcoming school year. These positions provide an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment with a diverse student population, including bilingual Spanish-speaking learners.

Location:

  • Berwyn, IL (elementary school setting)

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: August 19, 2025 – June 2, 2026
  • Full-time hours: 7:50 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Caseload: Elementary students (PreK-5th grade)
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license is required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school-based settings highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
