This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an engaging itinerant role working across multiple school locations near North Naperville, IL. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting school-aged students, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities, providing targeted therapy to promote communication and learning success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP or Clinical Fellowship)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly students with ASD and intellectual disabilities
  • Strong skills in collaborative teamwork, documentation, and communication
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting and background check prior to start

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students ages 5–22
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication needs
  • Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Collaborate closely with educational and clinical staff to support student goals
  • Travel between assigned school sites with paid travel time

Job Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Contract position starting ASAP through May 22, 2026
  • Students primarily diagnosed with ASD and intellectual disabilities
  • Caseload size varies based on assignment
