Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago Heights, IL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification (CCC-SLP or equivalent)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices or willingness to adapt to virtual services if needed
- Recent graduates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Solid understanding of the IEP process, including evaluations, goal-setting, and collaboration with educational teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel between two nearby sites during the workday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy services to students in pre-K through 8th grade
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and document clear, measurable goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in all IEP meetings for assigned students, collaborating with staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Use evidence-based practices to support student outcomes
