School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Chesterton, Indiana

Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication growth as a School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children thrive. Two positions are available, serving either a dedicated preschool caseload or a mixed preschool/elementary caseload.
Whether you're an experienced SLP with your CCCs or a Clinical Fellow seeking expert supervision, your expertise will be valued. Preference is given to in-person engagement; however, a flexible hybrid schedule can be considered for the right candidate. The assignment runs full-time, 7.5 hours per day, from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with supervision provided
- Experience working with preschool and/or elementary age groups
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable with IEP development and implementation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students in preschool and/or elementary settings
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Foster positive, supportive learning environments for student growth
