Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) applicants
- Prior experience working in school settings highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for empowering children with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K-8 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative strategies to engage students
- Support school initiatives and contribute to a positive learning environment
