Travel School Speech Therapist | Chelmsford, Massachusetts
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2023-2024 school year, serving elementary students in grades K-4 within a school district located in Chelmsford, MA. This travel assignment offers an excellent opportunity for experienced SLP professionals who have demonstrated effectiveness in school-based settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication needs.
- Conduct evaluations and document progress according to district and state guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensure and DESE requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required; Clinical Fellowship candidates will not be considered.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification.
- Recent experience in school-based settings preferred, with expertise working with elementary-aged children (K-4).
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders prevalent in pediatric populations.
- Capacity to commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the school year.
Location: This role is based in Chelmsford, MA, with possible travel assignments in nearby cities including Billerica, Lawrence, and Littleton.
