Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Current or in-progress Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants encouraged
- Experience working in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare-related SLP roles
- Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance with special education regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments for students in grades K-12 and interpret results for team-based planning
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans targeting a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate actively with teachers, administrators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment and progress data
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
- Support and mentor, where appropriate, less experienced SLPs or CFY candidates
