An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to support middle school students in Durham, NC during the 2023-2024 school year. This contract position offers a full-time, on-site schedule with engaging work focused on helping students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy to a caseload of approximately 38 middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and state requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina state licensure for Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
  • Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills suited to an educational environment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay of $37 to $41 based on qualifications and experience
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site
