Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract position allows you to focus your skills and passion at a single elementary school serving Kindergarten through 5th graders. You'll be providing valuable speech and language services to a manageable caseload of 25-30 students in a supportive, resource-rich setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLP-CFY
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience or clinical background supporting K-5 students preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams within a school environment
- Passion for supporting children’s communication and academic successes
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Engage in professional development and any scheduled new staff training (dates TBD)
- Regularly communicate progress and recommendations to staff and caregivers
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule: 35.5 hours per week, 8:25am–4:00pm
- Academic year assignment: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Serve one elementary school exclusively for true continuity of care
- Support from a committed school team and ongoing staff development
