This role is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who possess either their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You will help 30-40 young learners thrive by providing assessments, direct intervention, and contributing to their ongoing educational success in a school-based environment.
Preferred Background:
- Valid Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Eligibility for SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC status
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads, particularly early childhood populations
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Experience with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to children ages 3-5
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with district/state requirements
- Provide progress updates and participate in necessary meetings
