Enjoy a manageable caseload, typically capped at 50 students, as you provide essential speech and language services. You’ll be part of a district known for its encouragement and support of new practitioners—offering hands-on guidance to help you build strong foundations in your profession. With a Monday-Friday schedule and no virtual or hybrid assignments, you’ll be fully engaged on campus as you shape students’ growth and achievement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility prior to start)
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and receive mentorship as a CFY
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Engage in professional development and trainings provided by the district
