Speech Language Pathologist
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time onsite opportunities in the Los Angeles, California area for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hour days)
Caseload: Approximately 50–60 students; school assignments vary and some positions may be itinerant
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Dates: August 12, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Employment Type: W-2
Requirements:
Active California SLP License required
Active California SLP Teaching Credential required
Master’s degree required
CCC-SLP or CF candidates accepted
CF supervision will be provided as needed
SLPAs will not be considered
Must meet all California state and local requirements for school-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across assigned school sites
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student services
Additional Information:
Candidates should budget approximately $2,500 upfront for assessment materials, which will be reimbursed
The district conducts bi-weekly training cohorts
Start dates may occur either at the beginning or middle of the month based on district onboarding timelines
