Desired Qualifications:
- Current Florida provisional SLP license or full SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for SLP-CFY designation (new grads welcome)
- Previous clinical or practical experience with pediatric, school-aged, or adolescent populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with students across diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication disorder assessment and intervention services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in adherence to federal and state regulations
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to 504/IEP planning
- Receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from certified, experienced SLPs, supporting your progress and CFY completion
- Communicate openly with families to share progress and strategies for ongoing student support
