Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school setting
- Knowledge of speech and language development, evaluation, and intervention techniques aligned with educational goals
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Strong organizational and communication skills for documentation and reporting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions tailored to students’ needs
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies as appropriate
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and caregivers regarding communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records following school and state guidelines
