Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Eligible for or holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially working with elementary-aged students
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, families, and school staff
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing support initiatives
