Speech-Language Pathologist in Ceres, CA
Step into a role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist helps support young learners during a key time in their education. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time (40 hours per week) with an elementary caseload, providing direct support to students and collaborating with educational teams. The assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and is based onsite, allowing you to build strong, in-person relationships and contribute meaningfully to student development.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-age children, ideally at the elementary level
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule and the needs of a varied caseload
- Commitment to onsite work for the entirety of the contract timeframe
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educational staff and families
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as required
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and communicative school environment for all students
