Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License or CA CTC credential required
- Experience or interest in working within school settings preferred
- Skills or background in SLP – CCC, SLP – CFY, or pediatric speech therapy considered an advantage
- Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare SLP practices a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary students, supporting a range of learning and communication needs
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and participate in the IEP process
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and progress reports
- Provide consultation and support to school staff and parents regarding student needs
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and comply with state and local guidelines
- Engage in team meetings and professional development as required
