Make a difference supporting students across a K-12 caseload in a positive, collaborative environment. This contract-based role provides the opportunity to work with a supportive team and serve schools as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Certification in SLP-CCC
- Experience working in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Ability to navigate multiple school sites as an itinerant clinician
- Comfortable supporting a variety of student needs, including moderate to severe cases in a self-contained high school setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy and assessments for K-12 students
- Manage a dynamic “spot fill” caseload and adapt to varying student needs
- Provide therapy for students in both self-contained and mainstream settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other clinicians to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with team members and families
- Travel to multiple school sites within the district as required
This full-time role offers stability with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year, spanning late August to early June.
