Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active or eligible state licensure in Georgia for speech-language pathology
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but clinicians from other settings welcomed
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Proficiency in developing IEPs and engaging in case management
- Familiarity with a diverse student population and a range of speech-language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to K-12 students, as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, pragmatic, and communication needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with families and educational staff to maximize student success
- Serve as a resource for staff development and provide consultation as needed
