School Speech Language Pathologist - Kelso, Washington

This contract position offers you the opportunity to work directly with students and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators. Serving at .75 FTE, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for practice in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Monitor, document, and report progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers and families
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents regarding student progress and strategies for success
- Adhere to all federal, state, and school-specific guidelines and documentation requirements
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student growth
