Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Colorado as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working in K-8 or similar school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 40 students effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments tailored to each student’s needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades K-8, with most being elementary-aged
  • Provide direct therapy services, monitor student progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive student support
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and required reporting in compliance with state and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions as needed
