Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Colorado as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in K-8 or similar school-based settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 40 students effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments tailored to each student’s needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades K-8, with most being elementary-aged
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor student progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and required reporting in compliance with state and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions as needed
