Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Castle Rock, Colorado
A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) specializing in school and healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students and pediatric clients.
- Utilize teletherapy and traditional in-person methods to deliver effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support individualized care.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare and educational guidelines and standards.
- Support clinical fellowship year (CFY) clinicians if applicable, providing mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working in school environments, pediatric healthcare, or teletherapy settings.
- Knowledgeable in assessment and intervention techniques for pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to provide contract services within a school setting.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in Colorado.
