Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, CO

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license issued by the state of Colorado
- Eligibility for or possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous school experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to adapt therapeutic methods to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support student success
- Offer guidance and support to staff regarding speech and language concerns
