School Based Speech Language Pathologist Job in WA
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in a school-based setting near Carlsborg WA. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services, including evaluations, therapy, and consultation, to help students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success. This role requires collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments for students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K–12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and treatment goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student educational planning.
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed.
- Recommend accommodations and strategies to support communication in the classroom.
- Ensure compliance with Washington State and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Washington Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $85.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
