A middle school in Capitola, CA seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year (CSY) contract position. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in pediatric speech therapy within educational settings, including school-based SLPs, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in healthcare or school environments, and practitioners providing teletherapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services either in-person or through teletherapy platforms as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in meetings and provide progress updates on student goals

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification and licensure as an SLP or SLPA with school or healthcare experience
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy requirements and educational regulations
