A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve TK-6th grade students across two school sites in Canyon Country, CA. This role involves working with a diverse student population with mild to moderate speech and language impairments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assessment and individualized therapy to students with articulation difficulties, language deficits, and some augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs.
  • Collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Delivering services in compliance with school policies and educational standards.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports for each student.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Previous experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders, with expertise in working with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple locations.

Schedule and location details:

  • Full-time role for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 school years.
  • Summer start available June 17 to July 17, 2026.
  • School year start on August 5, 2026, through the end of the academic year.
  • Position requires traveling between two school sites within Canyon Country, CA.
