Ideal candidates will possess:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working within K-12 or elementary school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites, with reliable transportation
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Complete comprehensive assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences
- Attend required training sessions in mid-August to ensure smooth onboarding into the school community
- Serve as a supportive resource for teachers and families regarding student progress and communication strategies
- Travel between assigned sites, including elementary schools located in Fredericktown, McDonald, and Waynesburg, as per the outlined schedule
