Speech Language Pathologist in Belfast, ME
This contract position offers a full-time Speech-Language Pathology role in a school setting serving students in grades K-12. Beginning January 2026 and continuing through June 2027, you will work 40 hours per week, five days a week, supporting a caseload of approximately 60 students throughout the 183-day school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across the K-12 age range.
- Administer assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student communication and academic success.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maine.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Capable of managing a caseload of around 60 students effectively.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods and CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates welcomed.
