Make a real impact supporting students from kindergarten through high school as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis. This opportunity enables you to work with diverse age groups in a dynamic educational environment close to Cambridge, MA, fostering growth and communication skills across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain before start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12
  • Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and implementing therapy sessions
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and document findings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address diverse speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy and track student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input and recommendations
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Maintain organized and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student engagement and growth
