Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience working with diverse student populations in grades K-12, with skills in adapting support for varying developmental stages
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication skills for partnership with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language assessments for students across grades K-12
- Design and deliver targeted therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Develop and track progress on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies in the classroom
- Maintain clear records, write comprehensive reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate students and families on strategies to support ongoing communication development
