Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels (K-12) is highly valued
- Strong assessment and progress-monitoring skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in Grades K-12, both individually and in groups
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication challenges and strengths
- Develop treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to students' needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to developing goals, and support documentation requirements
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers and families for carryover of strategies
- Track and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where students can reach their communication goals
