Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
- Communicate student progress and therapy goals with families and educational staff
- Maintain comprehensive records and participate in IEP meetings as required
